SERVICES
You don’t need to have a clear starting point
You might not be sure exactly what you need support with, only that something doesn’t feel quite right. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply not yourself.
Counselling doesn’t require a perfect explanation or a clear plan. We can begin with whatever feels most important to you right now, and take things one step at a time from there.
Who counselling is for
Counselling isn’t only for times of crisis. You might come because something feels difficult, confusing, or heavy to carry on your own, or simply because you want to understand yourself better.
You don’t need a clear reason or a specific problem to work on. There’s no “right” reason to start. If something doesn’t feel quite right, that’s reason enough.
I can support with the following:
Anxiety
Feeling constantly on edge, overthinking, or struggling to switch off. Together, we can make sense of what might be driving this and find ways of responding that feel realistic and manageable for you.
Low mood
Feeling flat, stuck, or disconnected from yourself or from life around you? We can gently explore what’s underneath and begin to shift things at a pace that feels right for you.
Self-esteem & confidence
Being hard on yourself, doubting your worth, or feeling like you’re not quite good enough. We can work towards developing a more balanced, compassionate view of yourself over time.
Feeling stuck
Knowing something needs to change, but not knowing where to start. We don’t need to figure it all out at once - just find somewhere to begin and take things step by step.
Identity & life changes
Changes in life, roles, or relationships that leave you feeling unsure of who you are or where you’re heading. This can be a space to slow things down and explore that together.
Addiction & recovery
Navigating habits, coping strategies, or recovery can feel complex and isolating. This is a non‑judgemental space where we can work through things at your pace, with care and understanding.
What to expect
A steady, flexible approach
We usually start with a single session, giving us space to understand what’s going on and whether it feels like the right fit for you. From there, support can continue in a way that feels manageable - often on a weekly basis, with ongoing guidance and support in between sessions when it’s needed.
Sessions last 50 minutes, and we’ll work together at your pace, focusing on what feels most helpful to you. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance or know exactly what to say - we’ll figure things out together.
We take things one step at a time, in a way that feels steady and realistic.
