FEES & INFORMATION
You don’t need to have a clear starting point
You might not be sure exactly what you need support with, only that something doesn’t feel quite right. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply not yourself.
Counselling doesn’t require a perfect explanation or a clear plan. We can begin with whatever feels most important to you right now, and take things one step at a time from there.
Who counselling is for
Counselling isn’t only for times of crisis.
You might come because something feels difficult, confusing, or heavy to carry on your own, or simply because you want to understand yourself better.
There’s no “right” reason to start.
If something doesn’t feel quite right, that’s reason enough.
For parents
You might be here because you’re worried about a young person in your life.
You may have noticed a change - perhaps they seem more withdrawn, anxious, or not quite themselves. Or you might just have a sense that something isn’t quite right, even if you can’t fully explain it.
It’s not always easy for young people to ask for support themselves, and reaching out on their behalf can be a really important first step.
We can move at a pace that feels right for them, with no pressure - just a steady, supportive space to begin.
I can support with:
Anxiety
Feeling constantly on edge, overthinking, or struggling to switch off. Together, we can make sense of what might be driving this and find ways of responding that feel manageable.
Low mood
Feeling flat, stuck, or disconnected. We can gently explore what’s underneath and begin to shift things at your pace.
Self-esteem & confidence
Being hard on yourself or doubting your worth. We can work towards a more balanced, compassionate view over time.
Feeling stuck
Knowing something needs to change but not knowing where to start. We don’t need to figure it all out at once - just find a place to begin.
Identity & life changes
Changes that leave you feeling unsure of who you are or where you’re heading. This can be a space to slow things down and explore that.
Addiction & recovery
Working through habits or coping strategies can feel complex and isolating. This is a non-judgemental space to explore things at your pace.
What to expect
A steady, flexible approach
We usually begin with an initial session, giving us space to understand what’s going on and whether it feels like the right fit for you.
From there, we can continue in a way that feels manageable - often weekly, but always at a pace that suits you.
What sessions are like
Sessions last 50 minutes and provide a calm, confidential space to talk things through.
You don’t need to prepare anything or know exactly what to say - we’ll figure things out together.
There’s no pressure to have it all worked out.
We simply take things one step at a time.
